In play, Sinistcha ex utilizes resource management and spread healing. Its first attack, Re-Brew, targets one of the opponent's Pokémon, placing two damage counters on it for every Basic Grass Energy in the player's discard pile. These energies are subsequently shuffled back into the deck. Its second attack, Matcha Splash, provides a supportive effect by healing 30 damage from each Pokémon on the player's side of the field.
